Below are some links to arts resources in the Brandywine Valley that we enjoy supporting. These organizations are based on helping launch or further professional careers and increase artists' exposure. They are an endless source of information, connections and ideas, and are especially cool examples of the Arts scene in our area. The Delaware Division of the Arts -- In addition to providing funding for arts programming, the DDOA supports the integration of the arts into community life and serves as a resource for arts information statewide. City Theater Company --
Now in its 15th season, "Delaware's off-Broadway"
continues to offer edgy, provocative works in its
"new-old" home, the ultra-hip black-box
theater space of OperaDelaware Studios on the Wilmington waterfront. Delaware Center for
Contemporary Arts -- The DCCA presents nearly 30
exhibitions annually of regional, national & international contemporary
artists, as well as offering community outreach and educational
programs, a Young Contemporaries interest group, and serving as a
frequent venue for re:FRESH, Wilmington's popular Art on
the Town "afterparty". Delaware College of Art &
Design -- DCAD grew out of the partnership between the
Pratt Institute and the Corcoran College of Art and Design.
The Wilmington-based institution offers degree programs in 6
disciplines, as well as continuing education courses. Dover Art League ---The Dover Art League is a non-profit visual art center serving the Central Delaware Community. The League maintains an art gallery, a member's sales gallery, pottery studio, stained glass studio and an art education center with library. Rehoboth Art League -- An art gallery and membership-based arts organization that promotes and encourages artists, art education and collaboration among arts organizations. Delaware Art Museum --
Besides exhibiting American & British Pre-Raphaelite art, the museum
trains artists of all ages and skill levels through its
